Thomas Mavros (Greek: Θωμάς Μαύρος) (born on 31 May 1954 in Kallithea, Greece) is a retired Greek international football player who played as a striker. He is regarded as one of the best players to play club football in Greece having scored a record number of goals there (260) Ο Θωμάς Μαύρος γεννήθηκε στις 31 Μαΐου 1954, είναι πρώην ποδοσφαιριστής και o μεγαλύτερος σκόρερ που ανέδειξε η Ελλάδα με 260 γκολ. Ξεκίνησε την καριέρα του σε ηλικία 16 ετών το 1970 με την ομάδα του Πανιωνίου. Από πολύ νωρίς φανέρωσε τη μεγάλη του αξία και έτσι το 1976 η ΑΕΚ τον απέκτησε στην ομάδα της. Την πρώτη του χρονιά με την ΑΕΚ έφτασε στον ημιτελικό του κυπέλλου ΟΥΕΦΑ. Τις χρονιές 1978, 1979 ο Θωμάς Μαύρος κέρδισε το πρωτάθλημα με την ΑΕΚ και το 1978 και 1983 το κύπελλο. Το 1988 επέστρεψε στον Πανιώνιο όπου και έκλεισε την καριέρα του το 1991.

Demis Nikolaidis, born September 17, 1973, at Gießen, West Germany In his early childhood and teenage years he lived in the city of Alexandroupoli. In a sterling career with Ethnikos Alexandroupolis, Apollon Smyrnis, AEK Athens FC and Atlético Madrid, Nikolaidis earned his reputation as a "born goalscorer", scoring prolifically for club and country. His power, pace and skill on the ball have been widely praised but it was his work-ethic and enthusiasm, perhaps, that propelled him to his exalted status among Greek footballers. He made his professional debut at the age of 20 at Apollon Smyrnis.
